What I’m Reading

Hi, everyone. This page is all about what I am currently reading, what I have read and what books I would recommend to you all.

I am currently reading The Problem With Socialism by Thomas J. DiLorenzo.

The last book I read  Capital in the 21st Century By Thomas Piketty.

My top recommendation for economical reading would be Basic Economics. Thomas Sowell explains in easy to understand language the economy, politics and how they affect the economy, international trade, the free market, and a lot of prevalent myths about the economy. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about real-life economic issues.

If you are looking for a shorter read I would highly recommend John Stossel’s book No They Can’t. John Stossel explains his thoughts on everything from healthcare to the military. I devoured this book, he explains everything in a really easy-to-understand way. One of my favorite quotes from his book is “What intuition temps us to believe [is that] cutting military spending would betray our soldiers. What reality taught me [is that] our soldiers are better served if we narrow their mission.” (italics his)

The most recent fiction book I’ve read is The Wayward Bus by John Steinbeck.

If you have any book-related questions or if you want me to do a book review please don’t hesitate to ask me.

  1. Hey! I’ve seen some bloggers have a Goodreads plugin where it automatically shows books you’ve read/are currently reading, ect. Not sure if you are on Goodreads, but seems like itd be a good fit for this page.

    Sorry for unsolicited advice, haha.
